Here is another colourful envelope with a fun ocean theme. It's nice to get mail, especially in bright, watercoloured envelopes! This letter is for a person with young children, and I hope it will be a fun surprise when they look in the mailbox.
First I cut a sheet of thin watercolour paper and made scorelines with an envelope board. Then I wrote the address on the envelope with a waterproof pen.
I stamped the different motives in Distress Ink and coloured them with Inktense pencils and Zig Clean Color markers.
I used a stencil to paint the waves.
Stamps: Courteous Cuties - Paper Smooches
Stencil: Waves - Simon Says Stamp
I have submitted this piece to the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Bit O' Green
Seven Hills Crafts Challenge: March - Tic Tac Toe (animals, watercolour, bold shades)
Word Art Wednesday: Challenge #274-275 - Anything Goes
Have a nice day!
Lillian :)
