Carnival Card
Here is a birthday card for a girl. This card almost has a bit of a vintage feel to it.
Border dies are great. They can be used as backgrounds for other images, or they can be the main motif, like in this card.
I embossed the clouds with silver pearl powder and die cut the carnival border. I coloured the background with Distress Ink and the rest with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours.
The carnival border is adhered to the card with foam tape and added some pearls and balloons in matching colours for extra dimension and detail.
