There are so many lovely nativity cards around. I recently bought two border dies and decided to use them both in one card. I used mostly foiled cardstock, to make a shiny card. For this reason it turned out to be quite tricky to show the card properly in a photo.
The different layers were die cut and put together with liquid glue. The silver scene was adhered with foam tape, to create dimension. It was a bit fiddly to put tiny pieces of foam tape behind the details of the scene, but the result looks better for it.
I removed the baby Jesus part from the background piece, as the one in front plays the main part.
Finally I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed with silver powder. Then I cut the sentiment part into a fishtail and adhered it to the card with foam tape.
Dies: Starburst Cover - Mama Elephant, Nativityscape - Sugarpea Designs, Nativity Border Die - Taylored Expressions, Stitched Rectangles - Simon Says Stamp
The German text stamp is from Gummiapan.
I've submitted the card to the following challenges:
Sweet Stampers Challenge #1 - Weihnachten / Christmas
Bastel Traum: Herausforderung "47 - Weihnachten / Christmas
Papirplaneten: Utfordring #12 - Jul
Sugarpea Designs: Mix It Up Challenge 26
Kort o Mania: Utfordring 163 - La det glitre og blinke
Cute Card Thursday: Challenge 455 - Stars and/ or Sparkles
Have a nice day!

Those silhouettes look lovely in front of that deep blue night sky.

SlettDear Lillian

Marlene
Thanks a lot! :)
SlettKjekt å sjå et anna motiv enn snømanner og nisser på, likte veldig godt bruken av det blå "glansarket". Det blei veldig fint til diesene. Takk for at du deltar i Papirplaneten sin utfordring. DT Monica
