The Grand Bows from The Ton are a super fun stamp set I got a long time ago, having a birthday card in mind. Then we went on a holiday for three weeks, so I forgot about them and never got around to trying them out until now. I came to think of these stamps again when I saw this challenge inspiration picture at the Heart Desires blog.
One uses whatever one has got, as we say in Scandinavia. I didn't have ink to match the exact colours in the inspiration picture, but after lots of experimenting I found some that were close enough. I don't own that many ink pads, so I used Color Box pigment ink, MFT dye ink and Distress Ink.
The bows were stamped on white cardstock from Neenah.
Glitter cardstock from DCWV makes a nice frame for the cards.
The cards are made from Simon Says Stamp cardstock.
Stamps: Grand Bows - The Ton, German text stamp from Gummiapan
I've submitted these cards to the following challenges:
The Heart Desires: Challenge #7
Sweet Stampers: Challenge #2 - Anything Goes
Kort o Mania: Utfordring #165 - La det glitre og blinke
Cards und More: Challenge No. 7 - Anything Goes with Sparkle
Have a nice day!
Lillian :)
