Scandinavian Spring

This card is supposed to illustrate the typical Scandinavian spring. One day the sun is shining and we are excited to see the first flowers popping out from the ground, then the next day there's more snow coming.

I have used two different stamp sets from Waffle Flower's lovely Helen Dardik collection, but I changed the images a bit, as I wanted to include a Norwegian knitting pattern as a fun detail.

I stamped the images in light ink and masked them off before I stamped the background. I coloured the background with Distress Ink and the rest with Derwent Inktense and Metallic watercolour pencils.

Some of the flowers ended up outside the background stamp. I wanted to keep them, so I fussy cut them and let the hang over the edge.

I die cut "hello" twice and attached the pieces to the card with liquid glue.

The bear got some Finetec silver watercolour on him.

Stamps: Sky Full of Snowflakes - Memory Box, Enveloper Birthday - Waffle Flower, Enveloper Kindness - Waffle Flower

Die: Hello There - My Favorite Things

I have submitted this card to the following challenges:

Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
